Pleasanton Ranked Among Best Places to Live in California

One of the more attractive aspects of the Stoneridge Creek lifestyle is the community's location. Just east of the San Francisco Bay area, the city of Pleasanton is home to nearly 70,000 people. Recently, AreaVibe, an online city-ranking site, ranked Pleasanton the 18th best place to live in California, proving that it's truly a great place to call home.

The site makes its rankings based on several factors, including cost of living, crime rate, education, employment, health and safety, housing, weather, transportation, local businesses and online user reviews.

Pleasanton's ranking places it highest among other cities in the area, including Danville (25th), San Ramon (62nd), Alamo (66th), Livermore (74th) and Dublin (141st). Pleasanton scored 82 out of a possible 100 points, with its best scores being achieved in the categories of crime index, educational attainment and employment rate. The city's temperate climate and good air quality also received high marks.
